Product Design
Bu is a water bottle designed for the people and planet. Throughout it’s entire lifecycle, Bu does nothing but satisfies. Once it’s purpose is fulfilled - delivering high quailty filtered water - the bottle doesn’t need a recycling bin, it is made of 100% decomposible materials. Comprised of bamboo and bioplastics, tossing Bu to the floor is nothing like littering the industry standard plastic water bottles.
anarchie de tous les jours.
Hi, I'm Matt! Design student etc. This is my scrapblog of stuff that I find clever, interesting, likeable, or just downright fantastic. Anything goes.
I have a portfolio that I'd be chuffed for you to check out - if you like, the link's on the left.
I definitely thought this was a new product for Sony intended to look vintage-modern—sleek, clean, beautiful, with some vintage styling. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. I mean, I was looking for a price tag to see if I could snatch one of these guys. That’s when I discovered the TR-1825 radio was actually made in 1970. It’s amazing that something can look this good and relevant today.
Watches by Uniform Wares.
I’ve been seeing their watches on design blogs occasionally for a few years now, always liked them a lot.
I got the one on the top left for Christmas, can’t recommend their watches enough! Really comfortable leather strap, nice and light too. Very pleased with it!
It’s not like we haven’t seen bikes that fold up to save space before. But Dominic Hargreaves’ prototype folding bike collapses down to the diameter of the wheel itself.
Olympia Le-Tan’s The Catcher in the Rye embroidered clutch. £1,348.20 on net-a-porter. Love the idea, hate the price.
Right. I know this is high female fashion and all, but just the idea itself - a book as a clutch - is fantastic. One of those things you look at and go “… Bugger, why didn’t I think of that?” Brilliant.

Wanted: A Teaspoon That Wrings Out Your Tea Bags
Tèo, a new teaspoon designed by Austrian designer Karin Santorso for Alessi, takes a more dignified approach to tea bag management with a handsome, sculptural solution that takes care of the tea bag for you.
The design itself was inspired by the shape of a curled leaf.
